Q1: What is so tragic about Oedipus fate? Why did it happen? (Oedipus The King)

A1: In my opinion, Oedipus fate is really tragic, because he is trying to escape the curse that he thought he was in, which is killing his adopted father and marrying his adopted mother. in the end he did not run away from it, quite the contrary actually, he smash it right in the head by killing his biological father which is Laius, and marrying his own mother Jocasta. so its like trying to escape from a crocodile mouth but jumping right to the lion nest. furthermore he said that when he found the murderer of his father, he will exiled him. turns out he blinded himself and exiled himself, tragic huh

Q2: How does Everyman match with morality drama characterization? (Everyman)

A2: i think its because it tells of a story of men who have different personality, trait, and sin who will not follow the path of righteus, and the author wants the opposite which is following Gods path

Q3: How Does personification play a great role in this play? (Everyman)

A3: Even tough the 7 deadly sins do not included in the play, but the play does borrow the technique and personifies such abstracts as Beauty, Intelligence, Fellowship, and Good Works.

Q4: Does assassinating a leader for the good of the people constitute bravery worthy of a tragic hero or can the end never justify the means? (Julius Caesar)

A4: it is worthy, a hero will do anything that he believes true and just. but in julius case brutus was tricked and decieved, so he is a hero for his own country, and he is tragic because he was tricked to believe that what he did was justice
